Printing is just an aspect of what we do, we are local. We use local materials to bring things to life. We want to prove to the populace that we can do it; we are not really utilizing our potentials positively in Nigeria. It’s just a way to tell the youths that we can all do it together.
Tell us about your experiences so far in the field?
It’s been tough; business environment in Nigeria is tough, no doubt.
If you have the chance to diversify, what will it be and why?
It will be a full fledge factory, at the moment we have a workshop.
What are the challenges you encounter in operating in this business?
Mainly finance, all other variables can be managed.
Is there anything you want to say to your prospective clients and our lovely readers?
We have said it over the years, “let us look inwards”. We import lot of things that can be made in this country; we are not ready to develop. Everybody is chasing dollars in order to import finished goods. We will continue to moan as long as we are dependent on foreign goods. This will not create employment, income will remain low, our economy will surfer but our dwindling resources will continue to develop and improve the lives of the people in other exporting countries. If we do not start now, foreigners will do, encroach our country, en-slave our people and in future we will be the laughing stock.
